The second Quarterly Club Cocktial took place on 18th August, 2023 at the UIA Offices. The event was sponsored by UIA, Clarkson Insurance Brokers & Max Dental. The Cocktail was a lively event thanks to entertainment by Iwera Band.

At the event, Insurance Brokers were led by our Board Vice Chairperson: Mrs. Ritah Mutesi Kabayiza who noted that CLUB is a true manifestation that brokers & insurers need each other and reaffirmed IBAU’s commitment to partnerships.

The General Manager of Clarkson Insurance Brokers – Mr. Alex Makata noted that Clarkson Insurance Brokers values relationships, togetherness and industry activities and noted that it is high time insurance brokers got a home too. He also appreciated the support the brokers get from insurers from paying claims in time to offering them favorable terms.

UIA CEO Mr. Jonan Kisakye emphasized the role of the Insurance Brokers by reporting that over 30% of the industry premiums are generated through Insurance Brokers. Excel Insurance CEO & UIA Board Vice Chairman - Mr. Paul Muwanga called for more representation from both the insurers & insurance brokers at the CLUB events.
