The Insurance Brokers Association of Uganda (IBAU), in partnership with Statewide Insurance Company (SWICO), hosted the CEO Breakfast Meeting at Fairway Hotel under the theme “Partnership and Collaboration as Engines for Sustainable Growth.”
The event featured an inspiring keynote address by Prof. Samuel Sejjaaka, whose thought-provoking remarks challenged the industry to rethink its business models in a rapidly evolving financial landscape. Prof. Sejjaaka emphasized that true progress is built on trust, integrity, and shared value, urging insurers and brokers to move from a competitive mindset to one that embraces collaboration. He highlighted customer experience as a crucial differentiator and encouraged the sector to invest in technologies that simplify distribution, noting that in markets like South Africa, a policy can be completed in under three hours.
